Travel & Leisure thinks we are beautiful!

Though they did not get all the facts about the Clark right, we think Travel & Leisure magazine is definitely correct in believing we are one of the Most Beautiful College Libraries in America!  The slideshow features an image of the Clark by our Visual Resources Specialist Jennifer Bastian and shows us in very good stead, alongside some other truly magnificent libraries.

Oscar Wilde’s Tite Street house for sale!

Oscar Wilde’s former home in Tite Street is up for sale!  The Telegraph reports that the home is listed at £1.295 million.  Some photographs of the house’s interior and exterior are available on the listing realty company’s website.

After his visit to the Clark during last week’s open house, LA Observed editor Kevin Roderick featured us and our chamber music series on his blog and in his KCRW broadcast!  He highlights the Clark’s place as stellar place for classical music concerts, along with several other historic estates in the city who also host public concerts.

The Clark’s Paul Landacre Archive is highlighted in a new post today on KCET’s SoCal Focus blog!  This post and others like it, written by USC’s Nathan Masters, are part of a new collaboration between LA as Subject, a local group of which we are a part, and KCET, a local non-profit television channel (formerly our area PBS station, but now independent).
